Agricultural Commodity Sourcing Manager - Origin Sourcing & Market Specialist– Spain - Fully Remote - $75,000 per annum + Benefits

The Job:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced agricultural professional to take ownership of commodity sourcing and market development across Spain and Europe for an international business focused on the future of farming, regenerative agriculture and conservation.

The role combines agriculture, agronomy, commodity sourcing, market intelligence and international supply chains, with responsibility for maintaining existing supply chains while identifying new producers, suppliers and sourcing opportunities.

You will work closely with farmers, growers, co-operatives, processors and supply-chain partners, while collaborating with international sales, operations and senior management teams. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, curious about agriculture and confident building relationships at both farm and commercial level.

Key Responsibilities:

Agricultural Sourcing & Supplier Relationships

- Manage and develop agricultural supply chains across Spain and Europe

- Identify and develop new producers, suppliers and sourcing opportunities
- Build relationships with farmers, growers, co-operatives and processors
- Negotiate pricing, volumes, quality specifications and delivery terms
- Identify opportunities to improve supply, quality and commercial performance

Market Intelligence

- Monitor commodity prices, market movements, crop conditions and local supply

- Develop knowledge of production regions, crop calendars and seasonal availability
- Provide insight into pricing, availability, opportunities and supply-chain risks
- Monitor weather, currency, demand and competing buyers affecting supply

Agriculture & Regenerative Farming

- Apply practical agricultural and agronomic knowledge to sourcing decisions





- Understand producers' farming practices and production methods
- Support regenerative and sustainable supply chains, including opportunities around soil health, biodiversity, conservation and farm resilience

International Trade & Supply Chains

- Support the movement of agricultural raw materials from producer through processing and export

- Work with logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams
- Understand international trade documentation, Incoterms and export requirements
- Identify and resolve customs, logistics and supply-chain challenges
- Experience with US/EU import and export processes is highly desirable

Communication & Reporting

- Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, volume and sourcing information

- Provide regular market and sourcing updates
- Communicate effectively across a fully remote international businessThe Candidate:

- Professional experience within agriculture, agronomy, commodity sourcing, trading, procurement or agricultural exports

- Strong understanding of agricultural production and supply chains
- Fluent Spanish and fluent spoken and written English, with strong business/technical English
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, independent approach and ability to work remotely
- Willingness to travel within Spain, Europe, and further when required
- Agricultural commodity trading or sourcing experience
- International agricultural imports/exports and US/EU supply chains
- Customs,



freight forwarding or international logistics experience
- Experience within organic, regenerative or sustainable agriculture
- Existing relationships with agricultural producers, processors or suppliers The Package:
- Fully remote role based in Spain
- Salary up to $75,000 per annum
