Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Robomap.ai is a remote, contract role responsible for defining and leading the overall technology vision and execution for the platform. The CTO oversees software development teams, setting technical standards, selecting tools and frameworks, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure product delivery. Daily activities include collaborating with product and business stakeholders on roadmap priorities, translating business objectives into technical initiatives, and guiding architectural decisions for AI, data, and platform services.

The CTO manages technology projects from concept to deployment, monitors performance and reliability, and implements best practices in DevOps, security, and compliance. This role also involves building and mentoring a distributed engineering organization,



fostering a culture of innovation, and evaluating emerging technologies to strengthen Robomap.ai’s competitive advantage.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Software Development, with hands-on experience in modern programming languages, cloud platforms, and building scalable, distributed systems.
- Proven Project Management skills, including leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and delivering complex technology initiatives in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture, including defining long-term technical roadmaps, platform architectures, security models, and integration patterns for AI-powered products.
- Experience in Product Development, collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams to translate user needs into technical requirements and ship customer-focused features.
- Prior leadership experience in senior technology roles (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology) at a tech startup or high-growth company.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and APIs that support location-based and device-connected services.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote, distributed environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
