We are looking for an experienced bilingual B2B Customer Service Specialist based in Barcelona (Spain) who is positive, hardworking, detail oriented, and takes pride in their work.

The position’s focus will be to support customers as well as our own sales team by coordinating incoming orders with the production department, tracking shipments, resolving customer complaints, preparing quotations.

The Customer Service Specialist will also be responsible to handling the communication with freight forwarders and external logistic partners, requesting transport quotations, arranging and following shipments, and monitoring stock availability.

The position will report to the Global Sales Director.

Job Summary

- Respond to customer order and quotation requests received via outside salespersons, telephone and e-mail.
- Coordinate with other departments in handling purchase orders, shipments arrangements, delivery dates, and providing service to customers.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department the correct fiscal details to be added on the documents generated with the company ERP system.
- Support sales people as needed to help growth the company's customer base and maintain existing customers.

Responsibilities

- Forward incoming leads (phone/website) to Sales Managers for follow up and closing.
- Review existing customer contracts to ensure that company remains in compliance with customer requirements.
- Prepare and submit proposals. Generate written quotations.
- Track open purchase orders
- Prepare and/or assist the preparation of internal Sales and Finance Documents and Report, according to the needs of the Sales Department and the Finance Department
- Handle the logistics processes related with the orders,



such as communication with freight forwarders and external logistic partners, provide shipping quotations to the sales team, monitor and follow shipments.
- Perform follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service
- Support sales team as needed to ensure growth of company's customer base, and maintenance of existing customers.
- Must be attentive to detail in all activities

- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. This includes clear articulation and the ability to assist customers in resolving any issues by acting as an intermediary with the relevant departments
- Must have excellent computer skills, and be well versed in the use of MS Office and Adobe products. Experience with ERP systems such as A3ERP and/or SAP is mandatory.
- Must be self driven.
- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish

Experience and Qualifications

- At least 2 years’ experience in a B2B customer service and logistic role;
- Experience with A3ERP and/or SAP;
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required;
- Fluent in English/Spanish;
- Applicants with experience in Chemicals companies and/or Water Treatment companies will be given stronger consideration;
