As a Data u0026amp; Analytics Platforms Engineer, you implement and operate the core platform components that power the Allianz Data Platform. You work hands-on with Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric to turn platform capabilities into reusable services for operating entities. You collaborate across engineering, data, and operations to ensure scalable, governed data solutions. You will extend the platform to AI use cases while maintaining strong security and resilience. This role offers impact at scale within a leading financial services group.

• Consult with OEs to deploy and configure core platform components from deployment to production
• Build and maintain data integration pipelines connecting source systems to central platforms (batch and streaming)
• Configure HA, access controls, and end-to-end observability for platform capabilities
• Extend platform into AI/GenAI scenarios (Azure AI Foundry) to support model-based use cases
• Partner with OEs to translate business needs into reusable platform solutions
• Implement governance, security, and data control layers aligned with financial services requirements
• Develop CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines for fast, secure, repeatable deployments
• Collaborate with security, risk, compliance, architecture, and data governance teams




• Deliver reusable components, reference architectures, and best practices to accelerate rollout
• Support central platform rollout and build domain-specific use cases on top of platforms
• Coach and mentor engineers to raise tooling, standards, and ways of working

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data/analytics platforms in enterprise environments (financial services preferred)
• Significant experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, workflows)
• Hands-on with Azure data services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric)
• Strong data integration skills (ETL/ELT, orchestration with Azure Data Factory or Airflow, batch and streaming)
• Proficient in Python and SQL; production-grade code
• Experience with CI/CD, source control, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Knowledge of platform security, governance, encryption, and data lineage
• Familiarity with end-to-end Data Product Management (governance, quality, lifecycle)
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills
