In this senior role, you own end-to-end release management at scale within Allianz Technology’s SDW programme, aligning processes across OEs and a 200+ FTE tribe. You drive automation, governance, and visibility of release readiness, partnering with SRE and operations to ensure reliable, compliant delivers. You coach a Barcelona-based development team and bridge strategy with execution across global delivery locations. You will shape a harmonised release model and lead go/no-go decisions to enable predictable releases.

• Own the integrated SDW release calendar, policy, governance model, and end-to-end lifecycle across products, platforms and OEs
• Coordinate release scope, dependencies, risks, readiness, go/no-go decisions, deployment windows, hypercare, and post-release reviews for a 200+ FTE tribe
• Lead the transformation toward a harmonised, scalable release model with minimum standards, controls, and RACI definitions
• Collaborate hands-on with engineering teams to strengthen CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, environment promotion, and release orchestration
• Embed automated quality, security, vulnerability, regression, and compliance checks into release pipelines and quality gates
• Partner with SRE and operations on observability, release health,



incident learning, and business continuity during hypercare
• Provide purpose, priorities, and delivery accountability for the Barcelona-based team, enabling collaboration with Germany and other general locations
• Define and track release performance indicators to improve predictability, quality, lead time, and stability

Responsabilidades
• Significant experience as Release Manager, Senior Release Manager, DevOps Lead, or equivalent in a large-scale enterprise
• Experience coordinating releases across a tribe or delivery organisation of u003e200 FTEs
• Proven success harmonising processes across business units, countries, or federated structures
• Experience leading or managing software developers, ideally in a distributed international setup
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including go/no-go decisions and senior escalations
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear decisions, ownership, and next steps
• Fluent business English; additional European languages are a plus
