Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

- Reporting into the VP Supply Chain Management, you will develop and execute a global warehousing and distribution strategy aligned with business objectives, balancing service, cost, inventory, risk, and resilience.
- You will oversee and optimize the integral external warehouse footprint & distribution network (several dozen external warehouses and vendors across Europe, Asia and the Americas), managing 3PL partners, ensuring efficient, reliable, and cost-effective storage and distribution operations to support business growth.
- You will own the warehousing and distribution budget, optimize logistics costs, and identify savings opportunities while maintaining service levels.
- You will leverage WMS, analytics, automation, dashboards, and network modeling to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance.
- You will drive operational excellence through governance, KPIs, standardized processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing,



and Commercial teams on S&OP; and capacity planning while leading stakeholders and teams to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution.

Your ideal profile for this exciting role:

- You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Logistics or Business, Additionally, an internationally recognized supply chain qualification (e.g., APICS) is highly desirable.
- You are an experienced strategic driver of external warehousing & distribution network streamlining and optimization, with at least 10 years of related working experience and a strong track record in capacity planning, and long-term network design that balances service, cost efficiency, and business resilience.
- You have proven expertise in 3PL management, governance, KPI performance management, SLAs, and strategic partner development.
- You have deep knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, consignment programs and distribution processes, with advanced SAP WMS and analytics capabilities.
- You have strong stakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- You have fluent English (C1). Any additional European languages (e.g. German) would be advantageous.
- You are willing to travel 15-20% of the time
