As an HR Business Partner, the candidate's main focus will be providing day-to-day support to the HR Manager and People Leaders across the assigned region, acting as their first point of contact on day-to-day people matters, and ensuring the consistent application of RELP's HR policies and practices across areas such as Total Rewards, Recruitment, Performance Management, and Learning & Development — escalating complex or sensitive matters requiring policy-level or strategic input to the HR Manager.
You will succeed in this role if you can operate autonomously in a distributed, multi-country environment, balance hands-on operational delivery with strategic partnering, and bring strong attention to detail to compliance-sensitive processes such as onboarding, contracting, and payroll coordination.

How you will contribute:
Talent Acquisition
- Lead the Talent Acquisition process across the assigned region, supporting the full recruitment cycle from identifying hiring needs through to candidate selection and offer.
- Partner with People Leaders to understand role requirements, coordinate recruitment activities,
and ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience.
Onboarding & Contributor Experience
- Own the day-to-day onboarding experience for new contractors, ensuring all documentation, registrations, and administrative requirements are completed efficiently.
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure new contributors have everything they need to successfully join RELP.
- Maintain and regularly update the Contributors’ Handbook, Buddy Guide, and other onboarding materials.
Compensation & Benefits and Market Benchmarking
- Conduct regional salary benchmarking and research relevant compensation practices to ensure RELP remains competitive and aligned with local market conditions.
- Monitor local HR practices, including contracting norms, statutory benefits, and market trends.
- Provide relevant market insights to the HR Manager to inform Total Rewards decisions and support compliance with local requirements.
Organisation Structure
- Support the HR Manager in reviewing and maintaining RELP’s organisational structure, including reporting lines, roles, and engagement models.
- Assist with organisational mapping and structural reviews as the organisation evolves.
Payroll Coordination
- Coordinate with local payroll providers across the assigned region to support an accurate and timely payroll process.
- Act as a point of contact for contributors regarding payroll-related queries, working closely with the relevant payroll provider to resolve issues.
Contributor Records & Documentation
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date contributor records and personnel files.
- Ensure relevant legal documentation, service agreements, and other contributor documentation are properly organised, accessible, and compliant, in coordination with Legal and Administration.
Performance Management
- Support People Leaders and Directors throughout performance management processes, including performance improvement plans and other contractor relations matters.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up throughout each case, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the HR Manager when required.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives based on RELP’s evolving organisational and contributor needs.
- Support the implementation and administration of relevant development programmes and learning activities.
Engagement & Working Environment
- Contribute to initiatives and practices that foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.
- Help strengthen contributor engagement and experience across RELP’s distributed, multi-country team.
- Identify opportunities to improve people practices and ways
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in HR or People-related roles, ideally with exposure to international, multi-country, and/or contractor-based environments.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong understanding of core HR practices, with experience across areas such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Contributor Experience, and Learning & Development.
- People-oriented and results-driven, with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, particularly when managing documentation, processes, and compliance-related matters.
- Strong active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and discretion, with a strong commitment to collaboration.
- Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to take ownership and work effectively in a distributed environment.
- Curious and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and find solutions when new or complex challenges arise.
Preferred skills:
- Working knowledge of employment and contractor compliance requirements across different jurisdictions.
