We are looking for a talented Network Security Expert to join our team for a leading multinational company in the financial sector.

?What are we looking for?

- Expert-level profile with deep knowledge of network security technologies, strong analytical skills and the autonomy required to work within critical production environments.
- Solid hands-on experience with firewalls, including architecture, design, build and general configuration in high-availability environments.
- Strong knowledge of load balancing, including configuration, troubleshooting, virtual servers, pools, persistence, monitoring and iRules.
- Experience with DNS/DHCP, monitoring tools and SNMP alert configuration.
- Experience in proxy management, including architecture, design, build, general configuration and policy management.
- Understanding of remote access and Remote Gateway platforms.
- Strong development and automation skills with Python and Ansible, together with good working proficiency in Linux RHEL environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and report effectively to management.
- Good level of English, minimum B2.

?Skills

- Essential: Firewalls, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, monitoring tools, SNMP, Python, Ansible, Linux RHEL, proxy management and remote access technologies.
- Desirable: Experience with REST APIs and Python web frameworks such as FastAPI.

?️What will your main responsibilities be?

- Manage the production, monitoring and engineering of network security platforms across Campus and Data Centre environments.
- Operate and support firewall, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, Internet access, proxy and remote access technologies.




- Provide troubleshooting support and incident management, including on-call coverage for the Data Centre environment.
- Manage and implement technical changes in line with the team's established change processes.
- Monitor service capacity to ensure network services continuously meet business demand.
- Participate in projects involving the assessment and deployment of non-standard technical requirements.
- Ensure security requirements and established security designs are followed across all activities.
- Manage technology obsolescence and continuously improve monitoring, documentation, procedures and operational best practices.
- Develop and maintain automation tooling using Python and Ansible to streamline recurring operational tasks and improve integration with other teams.
- Maintain close communication with central teams regarding architecture, major projects and technical escalations.
- Ensure proper asset management and budget control.
