AIMEN invites applications for a Doctoral student position within the LEGEND project, hosted at the Division of Computational Mechanics and Materials Engineering. The candidate will work on a fast, robust framework for defect evaluation in thermoplastic composites using VTA and ML tools to map welding parameters to defect metrics.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and demonstrate strong English, programming and numerical analysis skills.
