El Camí de la Solidaritat is launching the world’s first Digital Incubator for grassroots NGOs empowering them to tackle critical issues like climate change, poverty, and gender inequality with sustainable, high-impact solutions. To amplify this mission, we are seeking a creative Social Media Manager to own our digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, turning our on-the-ground work into content that makes people stop scrolling.
What You Will Do:
- Content Strategy: Plan and schedule a tailored content calendar across all channels, adapting formats natively for each platform rather than copy-pasting.
- Community Management: Engage actively with our audience by replying to comments and DMs within 24 hours, flagging sensitive issues, and maintaining our brand voice.
- Trendspotting & Creation: Spot emerging trends, sounds, and formats early, edit basic video content like Reels using CapCut, and brief our design team on fresh ideas.
- Analytics:
Track monthly performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and link clicks to report on what to keep or kill.
We are looking for someone who possesses:
- 2+ years of experience running social media accounts, ideally for a nonprofit or cause-driven brand.
- Native-level English and working proficiency in Spanish.
- Fluency with scheduling tools (like Later, Metricool, or Buffer) and native platform analytics.
- Basic video editing skills and the excellent professional judgment required to represent an NGO, not a meme page.
If you are looking for a rewarding, adaptable role where your digital acumen directly shapes the future of the non-profit sector, we want to hear from you.
Please note: This is a remote, volunteer (unpaid) position requiring circa 8 hours per week, operating within the GMT to GMT+4 time zones.
