Senior .NET Technical Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Architect or a very senior .NET professional to support the delivery of applications within a project portfolio. You will report on application progress, review specifications, ensure code quality, and follow established guidelines and technologies.

Responsibilities

- Report to Project Leaders on application progress.
- Check and challenge specifications.
- Control code quality.
- Report to the Development Team Manager.
- Follow established guidelines and technologies.

Technical Requirements

- Technical Architect level or very senior .NET profile.
- Strong UI focus with experience designing and delivering modern front-end solutions.
- Microfrontend knowledge is required.
- Preferably highly skilled in Blazor; alternatively, strong expertise in another modern UI technology.
- Senior experience with microservice architecture.
- Senior experience with core software development patterns.
- Good experience with Kubernetes (K8s) components and concepts (services, pods, ingress, networking, etc.).
- Good experience using Azure cloud resources.
- Good experience with Helm deployments and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.




- Good experience designing architectures using UML, ArchiMate, or similar modeling frameworks.
- Good experience with testing practices (unit testing, feature testing, mocking).

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience coaching development teams.
- Ability to play a key role within Scrum teams.
- Experience leading and coordinating multiple development teams during sprints.
- Strong analytical skills for investigating technical issues.
- Ability to define and communicate a clear target architecture.
- Comfortable challenging technical decisions with Tech Leads and Developers.
- Ability to challenge functional requirements together with Product Owners.
- Capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating collaborative technical workshops with developers and architects.
- Ability to manage priorities and urgent issues efficiently.
- Structured and solution-oriented mindset.
- Interest in exploring new technologies and maintaining strong technical awareness.

Languages

- English (C1) – Mandatory
- German, French, or Dutch are considered an asset.
