Overview

As a Senior Associate in the HQ Legal Team, you own high-stakes labour litigation and collective labour matters, primarily in Spain. You will act as the frontline labour lawyer, shaping strategy, coordinating with labour authorities, and guiding external firms to manage risk and outcomes. You’ll advise internal stakeholders on complex employment decisions and own cases end-to-end, including disputes with reputational impact. This role sits at the heart of Glovo’s people operations and regulatory compliance, offering meaningful scope to influence labour policy and practice. You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with a clear impact on the business and its people.

Responsabilidades

- Manage contentious labour litigation and collective matters, mainly in Spain
- Define and execute legal strategy for high-risk disputes
- Instruct and manage external labour law firms, including fees and strategy
- Monitor case timelines, risks, and next steps autonomously




- Serve as a key contact for labour authorities and inspections
- Interpret collective bargaining agreements and labour regulations
- Advise on disciplinary actions, dismissals, and sanctions
- Think strategically, escalate when needed, own outcomes end-to-end
- Provide practical legal support to internal stakeholders on employment decisions
- Engage in issue resolution to mitigate operational and reputational impact

Requisitos principales

- Law degree obtained in Spain
- Qualification to practice law
- 7+ years of labour law experience
- Proven labour litigation experience
- Exposure to collective labour matters (unions, works councils)
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience with labour vs self-employed reclassification
- Exposure to administrative litigation or Social Security matters
- In-house experience in operationally complex environments
