Overview

As Accounting & Reporting Manager in Barcelona, you will lead month-end closing and statutory reports for multiple European entities, guiding a team of 4–6 accountants. You'll ensure timely audits and strengthen financial controls while collaborating with regional and HQ finance teams. You'll drive process improvements, support ERP initiatives, and provide analyses linking P&L; to the business plan.

This role combines leadership, technical accounting, and cross-border collaboration to support Glovo's financial excellence.

Responsabilidades
- Supervise month-end closing for Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish entities
- Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and reports
- Lead a team of 4–6 accountants across local and international markets
- Coordinate and submit financial audits with external auditors
- Review and approve monthly reconciliations for P&L; and balance sheet




- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting policies
- Drive process improvements with Accounting PMO
- Participate in local ERP implementations and finance projects
- Prepare ad hoc analyses explaining deviations from the Business Plan
- Adapt to policy, tax, and legislative changes

Requisitos principales
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- 8+ years of accounting experience in multinational companies
- People management experience
- Experience with general ledger, month-end/year-end close
- Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA and OneStream is a plus
- ERP migration experience is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
