Responsibilities / Tasks

The IIoT Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting
Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions that connect food and beverage
processing equipment with cloud-based digital applications and advanced data
analytics platforms. This role combines expertise in industrial automation,
connectivity, cloud technologies, and data engineering to deliver scalable
digital solutions that enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance,
process optimization, asset performance management, and sustainability
initiatives.

This position can be based in Alcobendas (Spain), Naas (Ireland) or Bogota
(Colombia), depending on the selected candidate.

* Integrate Siemens and Rockwell automation systems with cloud-based platforms,
including Microsoft Azure, InfluxDB, and Databricks.
* Support the development of digital applications for equipment monitoring,
asset performance management, predictive maintenance, energy management,
water optimization, and production performance analytics.




* Collaborate with Product Managers and Automation Engineers to define
technical requirements.
* Implement edge-to-cloud connectivity solutions for real-time data collection
and monitoring.
* Drive the standardization of digital architectures and integration
frameworks.
* Ensure IIoT solutions comply with OT cybersecurity standards and industry
best practices.
* Implement standardized industrial data models, asset hierarchies, and
contextualized data structures.
* Support the development of reusable connectivity and analytics solutions.
* Identify opportunities to improve the reliability, scalability, and
performance of digital products.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Educational Background

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or
Computer Science.

Professional Knowledge and Experience

* 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, IIoT, Cloud Engineering, or
Digital Solutions.
