As Senior AI Platform Engineer, you will design, build and operate the Fast Insights Platform to empower application teams with scalable AI capabilities. You’ll own epics end-to-end, drive reliable, secure platforms on AWS, and mentor colleagues while shaping enterprise AI guardrails. You’ll work cross-functionally to reduce toil, improve observability, and accelerate time-to-market for AI-enabled development.

This role places you at the core of adidas’ AI-driven platforms and developer experience.

Own epics from requirements to design, implementation and operation

Design, code, test, and refactor complex software to engineering standards

Improve platform reliability, monitoring, and operability while balancing cost

Lead code reviews and contribute to the platform's technical roadmap

Define and track SLAs/SLOs and automate operational tasks





Mentor equal- or lower-grade colleagues and onboard new team members

Coordinate day-to-day delivery with cross-team stakeholders

7 years IT experience with software development lifecycle or REST APIs/Web applications/Platform Development

2 years of proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient English

Proficiency in TypeScript or Python or another modern language

Hands-on experience with production services on AWS

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, Terraform)

Cloud-native foundations: containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS or another major cloud provider

Experience building platforms, internal developer tools or reusable capabilities team leadership proactivity
