Overview

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Dow Jones, you own the ML lifecycle with a focus on LLMOps, driving production-ready solutions. You will shape end-to-end ML pipelines and ML infrastructure, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and product teams. Your work will span semantic layer development, fine-tuning, model evaluation, deployment, and multi-agent systems.

You'll optimize performance, establish robust monitoring and retraining, and mentor junior engineers. This role offers impact across product and UX, in a fast-paced tech-driven newsroom environment.

Responsabilidades
- Own end-to-end ML model development, optimization, and deployment
- Develop and manage LLM-based solutions including semantic layer, fine-tuning, and evaluation
- Design robust model monitoring, retraining, and scalable ML pipelines
- Improve inference performance for production environments




- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate ML solutions
- Enhance experimentation frameworks, versioning, and A/B testing strategies
- Uphold MLOps best practices: automation, reproducibility, and CI/CD for ML
- Contribute to ML infrastructure architecture and mentor junior ML engineers

Requisitos principales
- Bachelor in Computer Science
- 2-4 years of ML experience with production models
- Strong experience with LLMOps: fine-tuning, prompt engineering, lifecycle management
- Experience developing agent and multi-agent systems
- Advanced hands-on with cloud-based data warehouses; Snowflake preferred
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy
- Experience building MLOps pipelines with MLflow or Airflow
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data frameworks like Spark or Dask
