In this role you will strengthen the Everyday Banking Payments squad, building high-volume, secure systems that power seamless customer experiences. You collaborate with the Tech Lead to design and deliver features end-to-end, while mentoring junior engineers to uphold code quality. You stay current with tech trends and share findings during GSDD sessions, ensuring high standards across the product through cross-functional teamwork. This position offers hybrid work in Berlin or Barcelona and a chance to impact a leading European digital bank.

Responsabilidades




Collaborate with Tech Lead to architect and deliver new features
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a high-volume environment
Mentor junior engineers and uphold code quality via pull requests
Keep up-to-date with technology trends and present findings in Get Stuff Done Days
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain high technical standards across the product
Requisitos principales
Experience with a JVM language and xqbhyrx Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin a plus)
Solid understanding of microservice architecture
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Familiarity with modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS
Proactive learner and collaborator
Willingness to give and receive direct feedback
General thinking while acting locally
