In this role you drive the technical blueprint for PepsiCos International Digital dCommerce platform, shaping data, BI, and product engineering architectures. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure coherent, scalable solutions that align with platform governance and long-term goals. You’ll lead architecture reviews, define reference architectures, and influence integration strategies across the wider PepsiCo ecosystem. This position offers the chance to build foundational capabilities for a scaling digital commerce business and to work at the intersection of data, applications, and AI for BI.

Responsabilidades
Lead architecture and design reviews across the dComm engineering organization to ensure alignment with standards and long-term goals
Define and maintain reference architectures for dComm capabilities from data platform to user-facing applications
Ensure architectural coherence across Data Engineering, BI Engineering, and Product Engineering
Collaborate with Platform team to identify foundational investments and support future capabilities
Lead evaluation and design of integration approaches with wider PepsiCo capabilities
Partner with DTX Core Platform Team to represent dComm needs in platform decisions
Navigate platform governance and advocate for international requirements to avoid blockers
Advise on AI for BI evolution
Guide application architecture decisions with Product Engineering Manager




Review designs for non-functional requirements (performance, security, maintainability)
Define and maintain architecture standards for API design, service boundaries, security, and deployment
Create architecture documentation, decision records, and design artefacts
Collaborate with Data Architect to ensure end-to-end coherence across data and application layers
Represent dComm in enterprise architecture forums and governance processes
Advise leadership on technical feasibility, risks, and architectural implications
Requisitos principales
6+ years as a solutions architect spanning data platforms and applications
Experience navigating enterprise platform teams and governance
Background in integration architecture across organizational boundaries
Strong foundation in software architecture, API design, SOA and event-driven architectures
Experience with modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) and data-platform integration
Strong xqbhyrx expertise in containers and orchestration
Ability to communicate architecture through diagrams and visuals
Understanding of cloud cost optimization and balancing cost/performance/value
Familiarity with Azure and AWS; infrastructure considerations
Understanding of BI tools (Power BI) and their architectural limits
Experience with or interest in Elixir (or similar functional languages)
Knowledge of security, performance, and scalability patterns for enterprise apps
Ability to influence Engineering Managers without direct authority
Strong communication skills for technical and business audiences
Comfort with a matrix environment across dComm, DTX Platform, and enterprise functions
