In this Founding Engineer role, you will help launch a new Factorial spinoff focused on AI-first IT management workflows, onboarding, permissions, and equipment management. You’ll own high-impact initiatives from day zero, shaping architecture and delivering usable AI-powered features. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to move fast, learn from real customers, and build a product that scales with a growing user base. This is a hands-on, end-to-end engineering role in a small, ambitious startup inside Factorial.

Own major initiatives and define quarterly roadmaps for the domain
Engage in customer conversations to understand pains and needs
Review code daily and provide feedback across the team
Learn from and mentor teammates, fostering engineering quality




Collaborate to integrate AI models into scalable, cloud-native environments
Bridge non-deterministic outputs to actionable team decisions
Explain complex technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requisitos principales
4+ years in software engineering
Experience shipping AI-powered features
Strong Ruby on Rails backend and React frontend skills
Ability to reason about LLM architecture xqbhyrx tradeoffs and probabilistic systems
Comfort reviewing and discussing code with colleagues of varying levels
Ability to explain complex technical decisions in clear English
Experience integrating AI models into scalable environments
