As a Senior AI Scientist at Preply, you will lead the development of AI-driven personalized learning solutions and shape the scientific roadmap. You’ll architect state-of-the-art models with a global impact, collaborating with researchers and engineers to enhance learner experiences. Expect hands-on research, prototyping, and production deployment in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Responsabilidades
Conduct AI research and development across deep learning, NLP, IR, LLMs, and multimodal AI for personalized learning and AI tutors
Develop and deploy cutting-edge AI models in production, from prototyping to implementation
Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver AI-driven learning improvements and business outcomes




Mentor junior scientists and engineers, promoting learning and innovation
Contribute to ML best practices, including model architecture, research methodologies, and deployment pipelines
Requisitos principales
PhD in NLP, IR, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of industry experience in deep learning-based NLP and IR applications
Experience with retrieval models, ranking models, LLMs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Strong proficiency in PyTorch xhfqzwm or TensorFlow
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud)
Ability to drive AI initiatives from research to production in a collaborative environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of impactful AI solutions
Passion for advancing AI-driven personalized learning experiences
Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting to translate research into real-world applications
