In this role you support VAT compliance for third-party sellers across Europe and contribute to the 3P ITX team in Barcelona. You’ll verify seller VAT status, provide data to tax authorities, and manage access controls to Amazon marketplaces. You’ll also assist with VAT registrations, respond to compliance inquiries, and support audits and cross-functional initiatives. The position offers ownership of processes and opportunities to drive improvements across the organization.

Responsabilidades

- Confirm the VAT registration and compliance status of 3P sellers
- Provide transactional and other data to tax authorities for 3P sellers
- Manage and control access of 3P sellers to Amazon marketplaces based on VAT compliance status
- Assist with VAT registrations across various jurisdictions
- Respond to VAT compliance queries from Amazon businesses in Europe
- Provide internal and external audit support including data analysis




- Support colleagues across the business, especially accounting groups
- Participate in cross-functional projects
- Map VAT compliance processes and identify improvement areas

Requisitos principales

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department
- Fluent in German (speaking, reading, writing)
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Experience in multinational finance and/or VAT compliance preferred
- Professional tax or finance xqbhyrx qualifications or similar credentials advantageous
- Technical background with programming (SQL, VBA, Python) advantageous
- Strong documentation of operational procedures and risk patterns
- Organized, analytical, detail-oriented
- Team player with ownership and change-management abilities
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
