Tecnun–University of Navarra's Department of Mechanical Engineering in San Sebastián offers a 4-year doctoral contract as part of the ADAPT-BONE project on adaptive porous implants for personalised orthopaedic reconstruction.
The PhD will design and optimise porous lattice implant architectures, study mechanical behaviour under physiological loading, and use finite element modelling, optimisation, and experimental validation, with opportunities for international stays and conferences.
