About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Driver to join their team, primarily serving the Queenstown, Eastern Cape area, with occasional travel to neighboring towns. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, playing a critical role in the supply chain. This position requires a driver with excellent navigation skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. The role involves a blend of local driving and potentially some inter-town routes, offering a dynamic work experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a company vehicle for the transportation of goods to various delivery points.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of shipments, verifying against manifests.
- Plan and execute efficient routes within the Eastern Cape region.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and operational readiness.




- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.

Requirements

- Valid Code 10 driver's license
- with a current Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Previous experience in a professional driving or logistics role is required.
- Good knowledge of the Queenstown and surrounding Eastern Cape areas.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
