About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Test and Validation Engineer with an Electrical focus to join their team in Queenstown . This role is essential for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of electrical products and systems through rigorous testing procedures. You will design test plans, execute tests, analyze results, and provide feedback for product improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer passionate about quality assurance to contribute to product development in a key role within the Eastern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical components and systems.
- Set up and operate test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Execute validation tests, record data accurately, and document test results.
- Analyze test data to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve identified issues.




- Maintain test equipment and ensure calibration schedules are adhered to.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in test and validation engineering, preferably in an electrical context.
- Proficiency with various electrical test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and product development lifecycles.
- Ability to create clear and concise test reports and documentation.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
