About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, contributing to their security operations and infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
- Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) configurations and policies.
- Automate security workflows and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Conduct thorough security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests, providing actionable remediation recommendations.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps ).
- Lead incident response efforts for complex security breaches,



performing deep-dive analysis and coordinating remediation activities.
- Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to the team's knowledge base and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or equivalent experience are highly valued.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in information security engineering or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in network security, cloud security architecture, and application security .
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Deep understanding of threat landscapes, attack methodologies, and defensive strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
