Job title: Sr Director, Global Key Accounts - Utility-Scale BESS

Our client is a Tier-1 player across the BESS field operating at the forefront of the integral energy transition. With a strong international footprint and a customer base that includes some of the world’s largest developers and investors, the organization is redefining standards in efficiency, innovation, and long-term value creation.

This role will play a crucial part in the development of existing projects along with the responsibility to develop new customer relationships & strategic partnerships globally for utility-scale projects.

Responsibilities

- Grow the sales pipeline and expand customer share-of-wallet in collaboration with regional sales teams.
- Define and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share within the energy storage sector.
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with key stakeholders across utilities, developers, and funds.




- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key global clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary customer interface for senior-level engagement, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer and market requirements

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong mix of Business Development and Key Account Management experience.
- Background in Energy Storage Systems is important. Solar background may be considered.
- Established network within the battery energy storage ecosystem with EPCs, IPPs, Developers & investment funds.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ relevant industry experience.
- Proven ability to close deals and operate commercially at a senior level.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate across technical and commercial interfaces.
