We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to act as the organization’s most senior design practitioner and help shape the next generation of its digital platforms.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, combining strategic design direction with active delivery across product squads — from discovery and research through prototyping, UI/interaction design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and communicate the end-to-end product and customer experience vision across customer-facing and internal digital platforms.
- Lead end-to-end product design: discovery, problem framing, user journeys, concepts, prototypes, validation, detailed UX/UI design and implementation support.
- Establish a strong customer research and insight practice, using interviews, usability testing, surveys, journey mapping, Jobs to be Done and behavioural/quantitative data.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Data teams to translate customer needs and business goals into effective product solutions.
- Evolve and govern multi-product design systems, improving consistency between Figma components and production code.
- Introduce and use AI-assisted design and research workflows responsibly, with appropriate consideration for privacy, quality, accessibility and human oversight.
- Set design standards and provide design leadership across multiple squads, influencing product roadmaps and raising overall design maturity.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design, targeting WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Partner with Engineering, Risk,



Compliance and other stakeholders to design clear, trusted experiences suitable for a regulated environment.

Requirements

- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for complex digital products/services, from discovery through shipped outcomes.
- Experience as a Senior / Lead Product Designer working across multiple product squads.
- Strong hands‑on experience with customer research, problem framing, usability testing, journey mapping and prototyping.
- Experience combining qualitative and quantitative insights to support product decisions.
- Proven experience creating, evolving or governing design systems in collaboration with Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design across responsive web/mobile products.
- Advanced Figma and modern prototyping/collaboration skills.
- Good technical understanding and ability to work closely with software engineers.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted design or research tools/workflows, with an understanding of their risks and limitations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience in Financial Services, FinTech or another regulated environment.
- Experience with complex platforms, operational tools or multi-channel customer journeys.
- Experience establishing or scaling a design practice / DesignOps / ResearchOps.
- Experience coaching designers and influencing teams without formal line-management authority.
