Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design for medium- and low-voltage systems on international projects, guiding technical choices and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality deliverables across the project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients to communicate designs and support construction with clear technical guidance. The position emphasizes applying electrical standards, including NFPA, and delivering sustainable, compliant solutions. Responsabilidades

- Lead design and delivery of MV/LV electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, lightning protection).
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Develop electrical designs for small to large international projects.
- Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, and specialist disciplines.
- Make technical decisions and provide engineering guidance throughout all project phases.
- Plan and manage design activities, resources, budgets, and schedules.




- Mentor and support junior and intermediate engineers, promoting technical excellence.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and QA processes.
- Attend client meetings, prepare technical proposals and presentations, and maintain client relationships.
- Support project delivery during construction with clarifications, design reviews, and site coordination.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and practices.

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering; or Master's in Electrical Engineering/related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical design consultancy, engineering, or construction projects.
- Proven MV/LV electrical installations design experience for buildings/infrastructure.
- Experience in sectors like commercial, healthcare, airports, industrials, data centers, transportation.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and managing technical interfaces.
