Overview

As a Presales Architect, you will design customer-focused solutions that drive business outcomes across HPE’s portfolio. You’ll work closely with sales, partners, and customers to translate business needs into compelling architectures, demos, and POCs. You play a key role in shaping proposals, validating technical and commercial viability, and guiding deals from discovery to close. This hybrid, office-based role in Bilbao invites you to influence strategic opportunities and showcase innovative aaS offerings at scale.

Responsabilidades

- Demonstrate deep knowledge of one or more solution domains and align them with the customer environment
- Develop and critically review customer proposals to ensure business and technical requirements are met
- Quantify business impact, articulate value, and assess strengths/weaknesses of the proposed solution
- Translate customer outcomes into functional and then technical designs scalable for growth
- Present solution value propositions to address customer needs and stay ahead of market trends
- Contribute to industry development via conferences, demos, and events while monitoring industry social channels
- Support account teams with technical strategies and deep-dive discussions to strengthen relationships
- Build and optimize workload solutions balancing cost, scope, and benefits to improve win rates
- Leverage partner products and knowledge to enhance deals and transfer know-how to partners
- Identify and nurture opportunities within accounts to grow pipeline and accelerate deals




- Maintain accurate documentation of activities and share best practices for team collaboration
- Develop and deliver live demonstrations and walkthroughs of products and services
- Assist in sales forecasting and provide feedback to speed up the pipeline
- Mentor junior team members and foster cross-functional collaboration

Requisitos principales

- First-level university technical degree or equivalent qualifications
- 8–12 years of IT experience with focus on technical consulting and solution selling
- Strong experience in solution configurations, demos/POCs, and customer-facing presentations
- Advanced understanding of aaS offerings, go-to-market strategies, and eco-system integration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and local languages as needed)
- Proven ability to communicate, persuade, and challenge proposals constructively
- Solid business and financial acumen including ROI/TCO concepts and sales KPIs
- Extensive experience with CRMs and standard sales tools; ability to manage complex deals and pipelines
- Strong project and time management skills with analytical problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with relevant products, solutions, tools, or services in the domain
- Ability to design playbooks for demonstrations and deliver compelling walkthroughs
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience with partner enablement and transfer of knowledge to external partners
- Experience with enterprise architecture concepts and multi-domain solution composition
