Experteer Overview
As an embedded firmware engineer, you own firmware across multiple platforms for access control products, driving modular, reusable HAL/middleware architectures. You will derive requirements, design architectures, and maintain firmware in C, C++, and C#. The role operates in a SAFe agile environment and emphasizes safety compliance and secure firmware lifecycle. You’ll collaborate on system-level design to enable scalable, secure access solutions and contribute to a mission-critical product portfolio.

• Derive, analyze, and implement embedded system requirements
• Design firmware architectures and estimate development effort
• Maintain and extend existing firmware (C, C++, C#)
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61508, ISO 13849, EN 16005, EN 17352
• Implement and maintain a secure firmware lifecycle




• Contribute to system architecture and modular platform design; develop reusable modules
• Operate in a SAFe-based agile environment (Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, CMake) with testing and code quality tools

Responsabilidades
• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience
• Bachelor plus 3-5 years of relevant experience or Master with 2-3 years of experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#
• Experience with safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 13849) and functional safety concepts
• Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware development life cycle
