What does the role involve? At the Lanserhof Marbella laboratory, our highly qualified medical laboratory technicians ensure fast, reliable and professional sample processing round the clock, seven days a week. This enables us to provide our guests with the best possible laboratory diagnostic services. For all procedures, we use the latest modern equipment in line with the latest scientific and technical advances.

Your responsibilities will include:





Overall technical and organisational responsibility for the laboratory department

Management, development and scheduling of the laboratory team

Ensuring the smooth running of the laboratory whilst complying with all quality, hygiene and safety standards

Responsibility for sample reception, sample preparation, analysis and documentation of results

Supervision of the preparation of blood samples, infusions and diagnostic examinations

Coordination and quality assurance of medical tests such as ECGs, exercise stress tests, pulmonary function tests and other preventive medical examinations

Preparation and processing of PRP treatments, including working with modern centrifuge systems

Ensuring compliance with SOPs and the continuous development and optimisation of laboratory processes

Responsibility for quality management, equipment monitoring, maintenance planning and documentation standards

Working closely with in-house and external doctors on diagnostic and therapeutic issues

Providing support during audits, certification processes and regulatory inspections

Analysing relevant quality and performance indicators and identifying measures for optimisation

Responsibility for materials management, ordering and stock control

We are looking for

Completed training as an MTL/MTLA, biological laboratory technician, chemical laboratory technician, PTA or equivalent qualification





Several years’ professional experience in a medical or diagnostic laboratory setting

Initial management experience or demonstrable experience in coordinating teams would be an advantage

Knowledge of quality management and regulatory requirements

Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and modern laboratory technology

Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills

A structured and independent approach to work, as well as a strong focus on quality

Good knowledge of Spanish and English
