Experteer Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on the AI u0026amp; ML ecosystem, you will own and evolve ClickHouse's AI integrations and Python SDKs to improve performance, reliability, and developer experience. You’ll design and maintain connectors with orchestration and transformation tools, and shape AI/LLM integration strategy for RAG pipelines and ML feature workflows. You’ll engage with the open-source community and align work with product and platform priorities. Your work helps data practitioners build AI-powered data apps on ClickHouse at scale. This role combines high-performance database engineering with developer-focused tooling to enable AI-driven data workflows.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connector and SDK ecosystem to boost performance, reliability, and API quality
• Develop integrations with orchestration platforms (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and transformation tools (dbt) to enterprise-grade standards
• Define and implement AI/LLM integration strategy for RAG architectures, ML feature pipelines, and LLM-powered data applications
• Engage with the open-source community: triage issues, support contributors, advocate for users, and influence roadmap
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud,



and other engineering teams to align integration work with broader platform priorities
• Bring practitioner perspective to roadmap decisions, prioritizing genuine Data Engineer and Data Scientist workflows

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of software development experience with hands-on data engineering, data science, or ML engineering
• Proven experience designing and maintaining production-grade Python connectors, SDKs, or integrations for at least one major platform
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in production data-engineering contexts: embeddings, vector search, feature pipelines, or LLM tooling
• Strong Python data ecosystem knowledge: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic
• Solid SQL, data modeling, query optimization, OLAP/analytical databases
• Experience with concurrent Python: threading, multiprocessing, and async patterns
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across engineering functions and open-source communities
