Required Requirements

- - Degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.

- Doctoral degree in the area of Biomedical Sciences.

- Twelve months of experience in research with perfusion, preservation or maintenance of ex vivo organs in normothermic perfusion machines.

The Main Functions To Be Developed Are:

- - Collaboration in the cannulation of porcine organs from slaughterhouses, under the supervision of the Project Manager or the Unit Manager.

- Participation in the cannulation and extraction of porcine organs from animal models, following established research protocols.





- Support in training in the extraction and cannulation of porcine kidneys and livers for platform and IISA staff.

- Performing perfusion of isolated organs (liver, kidney) ex vivo in advanced perfusion machines.
