Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist/Engineer, you will design end-to-end data science solutions for Bayer’s Vegetables Seeds Product Supply initiatives. You’ll partner with crop and digital enablement teams to build ML models and data products that support organizational objectives, while deploying cloud-based applications and APIs. You will collaborate with data engineers and cross-region stakeholders to deliver enterprise dashboards and data-driven solutions, mentoring teammates and shaping digital transformation across the supply landscape.

Responsabilidades

- Develop end-to-end data science solutions for Vegetables Seeds Product Supply projects
- Collaborate with crop, digital enablement, and data engineering teams to build ML models, automation jobs, and cloud-based pipelines
- Deploy data science projects via cloud-based applications and APIs
- Align platform usage with crop science data engineering teams and digital transformation initiatives
- Communicate with stakeholders across regions to define analytics requirements and deliver enterprise dashboards and data products




- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative, innovative environment

Requisitos principales

- Master’s or Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field or bachelor’s with minimum 5 years' experience
- Strong ML/AI, statistical modeling, and data analysis background
- Proficiency in R/Python, JavaScript, Java
- Experience deploying solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and technologies like Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, GH Actions, AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS
- API and web app development experience (ReactJS, Shiny, NodeJS, FastAPI)
- Experience with Google BigQuery, Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Business Objects; familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, Power Automate
