As part of the Sevensense by ABB team within ABB Robotics, you will strengthen the software backbone of our VSLAM system, enhancing performance and reliability at scale. You will write high-quality C++ and Python, contribute to automated testing, and develop internal tooling to monitor algorithm behavior on field robots. You will collaborate with SLAM experts to integrate and validate new components in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment. This role offers the chance to shape robotics software for robust, scalable localization technology.

Responsabilidades

- Develop and maintain the VSLAM software backbone with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability




- Write modern C++ and Python code and participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Design and maintain VSLAM automated tests, including integration and performance benchmarks
- Develop internal tooling for logging, KPI tracking, and data analysis for offline and field-based evaluation
- Collaborate with SLAM experts to integrate, deploy, and validate new algorithmic components

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years of experience xhfqzwm in software engineering, robotics or computer vision
- Strong C++ and Python skills with focus on quality, performance, and best practices
- Familiarity with profiling tools, performance tuning, and debugging complex systems
- Desire to work autonomously and in a collaborative team;
good English communication
