As Senior Subsystem Integration Engineer, you drive the technical definition and integration of the Machine Head subsystem from concept to operation. You lead cross-functional teams, ensuring design integrity, validation, and quality while guiding continuous improvement in development processes. You will shape subsystem architectures, manage interfaces, and oversee risk mitigation.
This role offers impact on product success, technology plans, and field reliability within GE Vernova’s wind energy platform.

- Provide system expertise across all phases of product development from requirements to life-cycle support
- Lead subsystem studies and trade-offs addressing CTQs like cost, performance, reliability, and operability
- Define subsystem architecture and manage subsystem interfaces
- Author and validate requirements and ensure flow through to components
- Contribute to customer-facing technical documents and present technical material
- Lead subsystem problem solving, verification, and risk mitigation activities
- Coordinate cross-functional and external teams to meet schedule and accuracy for BOM release
- Drive continuous improvement through design strategies,
multi-generation plans, and lessons learned
- Promote simplification and standardization in product structure, validation, and execution
- Support field and factory quality issues to strengthen subsystem quality
- Tackle complex assignments with long-term business impact
- Communicate execution status of milestones aligned with project schedules
Responsabilidades
- Extensive experience in Engineering/Technology u0026 Systems Engineering (non-USA roles) or wind turbine engineering experience (USA roles)
- Wind turbine machine head experience or familiarity
- Strong system design mindset and NPI lifecycle experience
- Ability to own component xugodme design from design through validation and fleet support
- Proven cross-functional and general collaboration skills
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to break down complex issues and enable decision making
- Travel willingness (~20%) and aptitude for climbing wind turbines
- Knowledge of GE wind turbine design practices and 3rd party certification requirements
