In this role you will own the end-to-end Spanish payroll process, ensuring timely salary payments, taxes, and social contributions while keeping data accurate. You will support employees with payroll queries with a human touch and collaborate across HR, Finance, and external providers to maintain data flows. You will help automate People Operations workflows using Workday and AI tools, and build dashboards to monitor payroll metrics. This position sits within the Payroll & People Operations team in Barcelona, contributing to an international payroll scope and a broader HR automation agenda.

Responsabilidades

- Own end-to-end Spanish payroll cycle: inputs, checks, reconciliations, payments
- Handle payroll queries with speed and empathy




- Coordinate data flows with external payroll and benefits providers (Spain, UK, Germany, France)
- Contribute to automating People Operations workflows using Workday and AI tools
- Maintain data quality across HR, payroll, finance, and accounting systems; build dashboards
- Partner cross-functionally with HRBPs, Recruiters, Finance, Legal, and IT

Requisitos principales

- 4-5+ years of hands-on experience processing Spanish payroll
- Solid xqziphu understanding of Spanish social security, tax requirements, and employment legislation
- Experience with external payroll providers and managing payroll stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is assumed)
