Head of Commercial — Food Manufacturing (International)

Our client is a major international food manufacturer with a significant, established business built on two production origins, supplying private label, branded and premium products to retail, foodservice and industrial customers across close to 45 countries worldwide.

Increase sales volume over the next three years. This is a newly created leadership role, giving the successful candidate genuine ownership of the strategy, the team and the P&L; from day one, including a refresh of packaging, labelling and go-to-market positioning.

Given the confidential nature of this search, the identity of the business will be shared with candidates who progress to the next stage of the process.

As Head of Commercial, you will take full commercial ownership of the business outside the GCC region, leading a team of regional sales professionals and acting as the key link between production capability and integral market growth. Own the full commercial P&L; for the business across Europe, the Americas,



Africa and Asia-Pacific
Lead and develop a regional sales team, with scope to grow the structure as the business scales
Build and execute a commercial strategy across retail, foodservice, industrial, private label and premium/branded channels
Negotiate directly with major retail and private label customers internationally
Partner with the CEO on a wider brand and packaging refresh as part of the growth strategy
Take ownership of annual budgeting and forecasting for the region

10–15+ years' experience in international commercial/sales leadership, with genuine P&L; accountability
~ Strong, proven experience negotiating with major retail chains and in private label supply
~ Fluent English essential; French highly advantageous given the business's footprint across Francophone Africa and Benelux
