In this role you will build and operate a Google Cloud / GKE platform to enable a scalable, reliable marketplace backend for MediaMarktSaturn. You work closely with cross-functional teams to reduce friction, improve self-service capabilities, and set pragmatic standards for the platform. You’ll own deployment reliability, security, and observability while driving long-term fixes and automation. This is a hands-on role shaping the tech stack behind Europe’s leading omnichannel retailer.

Responsabilidades

- Build and operate Google Cloud / GKE platform with focus on reliability, security, and scalability
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps (Flux)
- Make deployments boring: predictable, reproducible, and safe
- Improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automate where it adds leverage




- Ensure strong observability using Prometheus and Grafana
- Treat the platform as a product: reduce friction, enable self-service, and set pragmatic standards
- Debug production issues and focus on long-term fixes, not workarounds
- Build small tools or automation in TypeScript/Node. xkdbapo js when it’s the best solution

Requisitos principales

- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in cloud environments
- Understanding of GCP (IAM, networking, clusters) and Terraform-managed infrastructure changes
- Experience with CI/CD systems and GitOps workflows (ideally GitHub Actions)
- Strong focus on monitoring, alerting, and system debuggability
- Ability to contribute to development in TypeScript/Node.js, pipelines, CLI tools
- Understanding of modern backend architectures (NestJS, REST/GraphQL, Pub/Sub, MongoDB, Redis)
- Trade-off-oriented thinking with explicit decision-making
