As a member of our Finance team, the FP&A; Analyst will help drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting at Wallapop. In this role, you will play a key part in translating complex business data into meaningful financial insights, building clear reports, and supporting business decision-making.
Monthly Closing & P&L; Ownership: Participate in month-end closing activities by reviewing expense accruals and deferred expenses to ensure the P&L; accurately reflects business performance.
Trend & Variance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the P&L;, balance sheet, and headcount. Forecasting & Budgeting Support: Ad-Hoc Analysis: Prepare targeted financial analysis for cross-functional initiatives, including revenue growth, international expansion, and team-specific projects.
Support internal business partners with timely financial data, clear explanations of business assumptions, and actionable recommendations.
Practical experience in an FP&A;, accounting, or broader finance role, with a solid understanding of month-end closing, P&L; analysis, and budgeting principles.(Data & Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and financial modeling abilities—comfortable working in Excel (formulas, data structuring) to spot trends, analyze unexpected variances, and turn raw data into insights.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Experience with modern financial tools such as NetSuite, or dedicated planning and forecasting software.
We work in a mostly remote capacity offering great flexibility to our employees,
