As a Software Engineer at Emburse, you will help build an AI-powered platform that modernizes finance operations and increases visibility across enterprises. You will work within a cross-functional R&D; team to deliver scalable web applications, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to system design and documentation. This role blends hands-on development with collaboration across product, analytics, and engineering to deliver impactful solutions. Responsabilidades
Develop sophisticated software with minimal supervision
Mentor junior developers and potentially lead small to moderate projects
Contribute to API documentation and technical knowledge base
Participate in design sessions and perform advanced refactoring
Conduct code reviews and ensure quality during SDLC and releases




Fix complex bugs and perform advanced debugging
Communicate feedback and clarify requirements with cross-functional teams
Collaborate with product and analytics to align requirements
Requisitos principales
Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong Python experience in distributed web apps (microservices, APIs, DB integration, queues, caches, containers, serverless)
Experience with xqbhyrx AWS services or other cloud platforms
Proficiency in OS X and Linux
Experience designing/building JSON/REST APIs
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum)
Experience with 3rd party APIs and integration architectures
Experience with large-scale or distributed web applications
