In this internship, you will develop and validate new structural analysis methodologies and tools as part of Airbus’ structural analysis capabilities. You will join the 1AMXS tools team in Getafe, contributing to validation strategies that ensure accurate predictions across aircraft families. You’ll compare method/tool predictions against FE models, analytical approaches, and physical tests to establish applicability and limits. This role offers hands-on exposure to aerospace-grade validation work within a diverse, international team. You will work on a meaningful final-year project that supports certification-ready structural analysis workflows.
Responsabilidades
Contribute to the final-year project focused on validation of stress methodologies and tools
Develop and define a strategy to validate accuracy and representativeness of results
Compare predictions from new methods/tools with data from FE analyses, analytical methods, and physical tests
Collaborate within an international team to integrate methodologies into Airbus structural analysis capabilities
Support the development of validation cases and recommendations for range of validity
Work under a tutor with ongoing monitoring xqbhyrx and gradual autonomy
Requisitos principales
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (ongoing)
Coding skills in C++ and Python
FE modelling experience
Strong mathematical mindset
English proficiency B2 or higher (C1 desirable)
