Backend Developer - Treasury & Financial Markets

About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience in PL/SQL to join a technology consultancy working on a project for a major banking client.

You’ll contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of financial systems, with a focus on Treasury, Financial Markets, accounting and reporting processes .

What You’ll Do

- Analyse and manage system changes, requirements and project backlogs.
- Develop and test financial, accounting and reporting processes.
- Support technical and UAT testing, reviewing results and resolving issues.
- Prepare technical and maintenance documentation.
- Provide post-production support.

What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of backend development experience, particularly with PL/SQL .
- Experience in Treasury / Financial Markets and derivatives such as IRS, CCS, IFN, FRA, C&F; or OTC.
- Experience with Linux, Jira, GitHub and Control-M .
- Spanish and English - B2 or above.
- Strong communication, teamwork and a responsible, committed approach.

Nice to have: Java / Spring Boot, Sigom framework and experience with AI-assisted development tools. If you have a strong backend background and experience working with treasury or financial systems, we’d love to hear from you!
