Electronic & RF Assembly Technician

Goalsbridge is looking for an experienced Electronic & RF Assembly Technician to support international civil aviation projects involving the installation, integration, testing and maintenance of electronic, RF and communication systems.

The successful candidate will work with electronic equipment, cabling, RF components and system assemblies, supporting both remote project activities and on-site installation, commissioning and maintenance at airports and other aviation facilities.

? THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the assembly, cabling, integration, verification and maintenance of electronic and communication equipment used in civil aviation environments.

The position requires strong hands-on technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while following technical documentation, quality requirements and applicable safety procedures.

?️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assembly and integration of electronic and communication equipment
- Installation of electronic systems and equipment at airports and other aviation facilities
- Preparation and installation of conventional, digital, power and RF cabling
- Assembly of coaxial and other specialised connectors
- Cable preparation, termination and crimping
- Installation and connection of electronic modules, racks, cabinets and associated equipment
- Reading and interpretation of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Inspection, testing and verification of completed assemblies
- Troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies and equipment
- Basic to intermediate PCB diagnostics and repair
- Support during system testing, integration, commissioning and maintenance activities
- Identification and reporting of technical issues encountered during installation or testing
- Compliance with applicable technical, quality and safety requirements
- Participation in on-site technical interventions and project assignments

? REQUIREMENTS




- Technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Electrotechnics, Telecommunications, Industrial Maintenance or a comparable field
- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant practical experience in electronic assembly, installation, integration or maintenance
- Practical experience with electronic and electrical cabling
- Experience working with coaxial and RF cables and connectors
- Experience using professional crimping and termination tools
- Ability to assemble and wire electronic modules and equipment
- Knowledge of digital, power and RF interconnection
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Practical troubleshooting skills
- Good command of English, including the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate effectively in an international project environment
- Good command of Spanish, including the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate effectively in an international project environment
- Good understanding of electrical and workplace safety procedures
- Driving licence, Category B
- Availability for regular national and international travel
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary technical team
- Legal right to work and be based within the European Union

⭐ DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE The following would be considered an advantage:
- Previous experience in civil aviation, airport systems, telecommunications, radio communications or other technically regulated environments
- Experience with airport communication, navigation or surveillance systems
- Experience with RF and communication systems




- Experience with installation and integration activities at airports or customer sites
- Familiarity with civil aviation technical standards and procedures
- Experience with equipment racks, technical cabinets and system-level integration
- Experience working in operational airport environments
- Training related to electrical safety, working at height or other technical field activities

? LOCATION & WORKING CONDITIONS ? Location: Hybrid — remote from the candidate’s location within the EU, combined with on-site work at project locations.

✈️ Travel: Regular international travel is an integral part of the role and is required depending on project needs.

Working schedules may vary depending on installation, commissioning and maintenance activities at project sites.
