Experteer Overview In this field-based role, you serve as a scientific expert and trusted partner to healthcare professionals across Spain and Portugal. You’ll collaborate with Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams to support medical education, engagements, and the generation of local clinical insights. You’ll build relationships with KOLs, communicate up-to-date scientific information, and contribute to publication and education activities. This position offers impact by advancing Santen’s ophthalmology science in Iberia while working closely with diverse stakeholders.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in Iberia
- Provide balanced, evidence-based medical information on Santen products and therapeutic areas
- Gather and communicate field medical insights to internal stakeholders
- Increase awareness of Santen’s scientific and medical expertise among external customers
- Present scientific data to physicians, pharmacists, and hospital practitioners
- Support development of scientific educational materials and education initiatives
- Contribute to customer training programs and internal medical training
- Respond to scientific inquiries with latest evidence
- Attend local, national, and international congresses and meetings
- Engage with experts to discuss therapeutic advances and new evidence
- Monitor developments and share insights internally




- Support local MSA and Ru0026D studies, including ISTs and local sponsored studies
- Identify research opportunities supporting products and objectives
- Collaborate on local and national publication activities
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Development, Medical Information, and other stakeholders
- Support planning and execution of customer advisory boards
- Foster cross-functional communication across the organization
- Develop relationships with patient associations and explore partnerships
- Represent Santen professionally and ethically in external interactionsResponsabilidades
- University degree in Life Sciences (e.G., Medicine MD, Pharmacy, Biology, Optometry)
- 2-4 years in an MSL role
- Strong ability to understand and communicate complex scientific information
- Excellent presentation and educational skills
- Ability to provide accurate, evidence-based responses
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management
- Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally in international environments
