The RoleAs a Mid Backend Software Engineer, you'll independently design, build, and optimize backend systems, not just implement tickets. You'll help shape scalable architecture, keep code quality high, and act as a technical reference point for junior engineers on the team. This is a role for someone who's past needing guardrails and ready to help set them for others.What You'll Do- Independently design, develop, and optimize backend solutions end to end.- Design scalable backend systems with maintainability and performance in mind.- Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.- Develop unit tests and automate workflows to keep code quality high.- Act as a technical reference for junior engineers — guidance, not hand-holding.- Document backend systems so the whole team can build on them, not just you.- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve APIs and database systems.What We're Looking For (Must-Have)- Professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, implementing real business logic autonomously.- Solid hands-on experience with Express, FastAPI, or Fastify, and designing scalable backend services.- Strong PostgreSQL skills, schema design,
