Experteer Overview
In this AFC Analyst role, you support Anti-Financial Crime tasks across AML, terrorism financing, sanctions, KYC, and fraud. You will review complex cases, improve investigations, and help expand our monitoring procedures and rulebook. You draft and submit Suspicious Activity Reports to authorities, contributing to a culture of compliant, trusted banking. You work with cross-functional teams to enhance detection and regulatory alignment, enabling safe, scalable growth for N26.

• Review and enhance investigations of escalated Financial Crime cases for quality and efficiency
• Improve processes and expand procedures and the rulebook related to AML/CTF and monitoring systems
• Identify and implement improvements to internal transaction monitoring processes
• Draft and submit SARs/STRs and authority requests to UIF and other authorities after escalation
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain confidentiality
• Collaborate with Investigators and TLs to resolve complex cases




• Support implementation of enhanced analytics and system improvements in compliance workflows

Responsabilidades
• Min. 3 years of banking experience in Anti Financial Crime (AML/CTF, fraud)
• Strong knowledge of European AML/CTF directives and local regulatory frameworks
• Direct experience handling SAR/STR reporting and communications with Financial Intelligence Units
• Fluency in English and professional fluency in Italian
• Bachelor's degree (ideally in law, business or finance)
• Advanced use of MS Office (Excel and Word); Salesforce experience is a plus
• Knowledge of European and Italian financial crime regulations
• Discretion, confidentiality, and analytical mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and autonomously on topics
