Experteer Overview In this role you will develop advanced building energy models and assess performance to guide design decisions. You will work within the Building Physics team to deliver high-performing, energy-efficient, and resilient buildings, collaborating with architects, engineers, and sustainability consultants. You’ll apply CFD and energy simulation tools to optimize outcomes, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to decarbonisation and sustainability goals. - Develop and manage detailed building energy models using industry-leading simulation tools
- Perform energy performance assessments to support design decisions across project stages
- Analyze HVAC systems, renewables, envelope solutions, and operational strategies to identify energy-saving opportunities
- Support compliance with local regulations and sustainability frameworks (LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Net Zero Carbon)
- Deliver technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and sustainability consultants to embed energy objectives in design

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering,



Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Building Performance Analysis including CFD simulations
- Proven experience in developing and managing detailed building energy models for commercial, industrial, and large-scale developments
- Solid understanding of building physics, thermal performance, HVAC, and sustainable design principles
- Experience conducting energy audits and delivering actionable recommendations
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC design concepts and their representation in energy simulations
- Ability to interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and design documentation
- Proficiency in IES VE, Revit, AutoCAD, and other building performance tools
- Experience supporting sustainability and decarbonisation strategies and compliance with energy codes and green building certifications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
