Overview
As Operations Manager you drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements within the plant leadership team. You will lead Process and Maintenance, shaping performance and capability development, with cross-functional collaboration on productivity, infrastructure and innovation aligned to business priorities. You actively manage TPM-based improvement programs, RCA, and daily management systems to deliver sustained impact.
This role offers strategic influence across operations and a chance to contribute to Essity's wellbeing mission. You will work closely with diverse teams to achieve ambitious targets and foster a strong safety culture.
Responsabilidades
- Lead safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale targets for the operational area
- Foster a safety culture by identifying and eliminating unsafe conditions
- Lead, coach and develop Process and Maintenance teams
- Manage budgets, resources, overtime and cost per-ton for maintenance and labor
- Define and implement strategies to improve equipment efficiency and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement through TPM (AM–PM), RCA and daily management systems
- Participate in savings, infrastructure and new product development projects with local and integral teams
Requisitos principales
- University degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably tissue paper or continuous processes
- Strong knowledge of TPM, cost management, maintenance systems and operations
- Proven leadership with communication, collaboration, influence, conflict resolution and coaching skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and willingness to travel/relocate
