As part of our European growth strategy, Riwald Recycling is developing its operations in Spain, based in Villaverde, Madrid. To support this strategic development, we are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Buyer with solid experience in ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Actively prospect, develop, and manage a robust supplier portfolio
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, ensuring competitive and sustainable agreements
- Analyze profitability and market trends to support informed purchasing decisions
- Work closely with site operations and yard teams to ensure smooth execution and operational efficiency
- Represent Riwald’s values of safety, integrity, and sustainability in all commercial activities

What We Are Looking For

- Proven experience in a similar commercial or purchasing role within the ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling industry
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Confident, decisive, and results-driven attitude
- Strong safety culture and commitment to occupational health & safety
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems (commercial management) and proficiency in MS Office
